Giovanni and his KCP Racing #18 team made a big announcement last week. The Des Moines, Iowa-based team, will be joining the World of Outlaw circuit for the 2023 season. Adam Clark will be returning as Gio’s crew chief for the season.
Gio's racing career began 15 years ago when he followed in his brother, Dominic’s, footsteps and started racing micro sprints at Plaza Park in Visalia, California and Lemoore Raceway. Through those years Giovanni has collected several micro and sprint car wins, as well as a Menard’s ARCA pavement win with Bill McAnally Racing.
Giovanni became the youngest World of Outlaw winner on September 28, 2018 in the Indy Race Parts #71 at Williams Grove Speedway. Since then, he has collected 4 more World of Outlaw wins, including two in his home state of California last year.
